The Great Hall is the epitome of the city’s history. You can feel it as soon as you enter our library. The beautiful stained glass roof, the colour-adjustable lighting up in the dome, the imposing statues hanging from the wall… There is so much to discover. This central lobby in the library has everything to make large events unfogettable, such as exhibitions, festivals and receptions.*

The Dutch Film Festival and other major cultural events preceded you in our public library hall. The signing, reading tables, seats and other furniture are movable. Would you prefer a private meeting? That too is possible, after opening hours.
